    Just got my 6R...

Blimey, they give 6R's out to anyone these days, even fat pommie blokes with bad intestine problems....

Anyroad, a break from the norm to sit my 6R this morning and passed, on problem at all. Examiner was a really cool guy, had a few helpful hints no my riding (dont eat pies going into a turn, indicate when you need to poo by the side of the road, showing your willy while riding is NOT giving way, that kind of thing) and would you Adam n Eve it, I passed....

So the L place is off the bike and I'm as happy as a toilet seat at a lesbian convention. It's taken me 6 months to convince the missus that the 'L' stands for learner and not lardarse, Little winkie or (worst of all) Liverpool supporter.

However, I repeat the wise words of my father gawd bless him, when he said:

Son, you are a fat bastard and no mistake....

...sorry, not that one, that was his speech on my wedding day, I meant:

Son, you may take that L plate off the bike, but always wear it on the inside....

    Cool, eh...

So, that's my news. Fanx for all the 6R tips on the forums guys.

    Have a great day.......

....and? Is that it? No UFOs? No drunk asian underwear escapades? No vicious Sydney Silky Terriers getting stuck in your visor and causing you to drive though some old lady's washing line, hence getting her goodyear blimp-sized pantaloons stuck on your head?

Seriously though, well done Max, great stuff! Congratulations Great feeling ain't it?

    Go you good thing!
It’s diametrically opposed to the sanitised existence of the Lemmings around me in the Dilbert Cartoon hell I live in; it’s life at full volume, perfect colour with high resolution and 10,000 watts of amplification.

    Cheers PB,

Havnt thought much about the full just yet. Finances dictate that I am well and truly on a 250cc for the forseeable future. Just got my missus onto a 50cc to start her off so that sort of wipes out the budget.

Mind you, I'm happy with the VL for now, great commuter bike and did the Coromandel run no worries so I'll stick with it.

    Thanks again mate
