Good dealings - some positive bling for a change...

Just got off the phone with a good charactor - he has a heap of bits (new and used) for up spec'ing the only bike worth having (GSXR's).

He has a range of stuff like rearsets, fairings, and he was happy enough to give me a heap of advice about fitting aftermarket oddities and making a race bike.

He had a shop in Germany building custom GSXR's, and trades on TradeMe as the HouseofCustom.

    Can highly recommend.

His name is Mike, and he can be contacted on 07 862 9082.
It’s diametrically opposed to the sanitised existence of the Lemmings around me in the Dilbert Cartoon hell I live in; it’s life at full volume, perfect colour with high resolution and 10,000 watts of amplification.

He's shipping me a set today, to see if they fit - since we're not sure. Powder coating is cheap - paid $250 for the rear sets (bargain!).

What's your thoughts on powder coating the frame and swingarm - the frame is scratched, not badly, but enough that I look at it and want to do something about it.

Also, I've been looking at the tank - I reckon it would be straight forward to build a smaller tank, and then build a bigger airbox and tank cover out of carbon... The actual tank is overly large at 18 litres... I need to make ducts anyhow, it's not that much extra work...

They will fit, since they fit the k3-k4 1000, so they fit the 600/750 no worrys.

You can either paint/power coat the frame swing arm again if you want. or if you really bored you could just take the power coat of stock frame, and make it bling polished.

I might have a line on some air ducts if ya want. (cheapish)

Greg percivall did that with his FZR400. Took a mould off the factory tank then put a 6 litre square ally tank in under it.
If you did it right you'd gain access to your airbox real easy
