    Any safe parking in Picton?

Want to leave my bike in Picton for a couple of days while I jump on the ferry and nip over to Wellington. Is there anywhere safe to leave a bike parked? I'm thinking parking building of something similar.

i stayed at a bike friendly b&b a few years back. they might be quite happy for you to leave it there... buts its a decent walk back to the ferry.

I concur, an inn of sorts would be the way to go, much safer than a carpark building. Shame ferries don't go from Nelson otherwise I'd babysit.

talk to the local boys in blue, they are a pretty good bunch up there and might allow you to leave it locked up in the yard.

Found a company called Sounds Vehicle Storage. They're gonna look after if for $10 a day.

Almost all backpackers/campgrounds will do it, usually its because you're off to walk the QC track. We left the DR at the top 10 place, cost $3 for 3 days (didnt have a price for bikes then...)

Cheers guys. I'm arriving at about 5 in the morning though. Unless those places are open 24/7 then I'm stuck with this storage place. I'll remember them for next time though
