I was wondering if anyone can recommend a good insurance company or one that specialises in women riders, if they exist over here. Looking for cheap insurance. Any advice welcome. Thanks

If you are over 30 and do not ride a 250cc bike - then I can recommend Classic Cover. They are really reasonable and it won't cost you an arm or leg.
They are located in Hamilton. Have a website too.
I've been with them for 6+ years, and they are great.
Good luck
Unfortunately bike insurance companies believe that women should be treated equal and so should not get special treatment...
much like you apparently used to actually

Drinking skills???!!! Geebus so inthe UK WOMEN are allowed to drink and ride and they still get special treatment for it?!
Again though - I thought you hated feminists who want to be treated equal but still special.
Sorry hun you will be paying as much as the boys for insurance - just like us 'fat-overall-wearing-feminist-dykes' I recall that's what you called me and others a the time

If you contact www.ebikeinsurance.co.nz , they are pretty good value and let you carry over your UK no claims bonus over (if you have one).
If you do a search on KB you will see that some don't like them as they are sometimes difficult to get hold of and are slow to send out paperwork. I have found them to be OK myself and have used them for the past 2 years.
Good luck.
I don't think I would ever have put all those words together, too many for me
I never said I wanted to be treated as an equal or special. And I have never thought that men and women are equal, they are not! I was just asking if there were any insurance companies for us 'drinking' women.

I also speak as a drinking woman... and while able to stand, it seldom affects my ability to get insurance. Being over 25 helps, as does having a claim free life (after marriage). I also have been asked... just seldom reply. If they need to know, I am applying to the wrong company.
