Name ... yes ... address ... no. However I do know that he will be appearing in court on 10 December for a hearing of the evidence. I'll be there ... in the back row ... in my biker gear.

I think Swann is actually an insurance company in it's own right as the insurance documents all list Swann as the provider of the insurance. KiwiBike is a broker and they came up with Swann as the best provider in our case.

Point taken, IAG may underwrite the risk but not actively manage the process, and who you get to handle your claim can make all the difference to the outcome - those into bikes will most likely be more empathetic to bikers' claims for sure.

Utter bloody crap. They are certainly not competitive by any stretch of the imagination - service - christ if only they new the meaning of the word. My experience has been totally diabolical of the thieving bastards and I would NEVER recommend EVER.

I'm not really interested in visiting the mongrel at home. The justice system will deal with him in whatever way is appropriate (or not, I mean it's probably society's fault ... not his ). All I want to do is be visible to let him know that we care and if he spends a few months looking over his shoulder whenever a bike pulls up behind him I'll be happy.

Just as an interesting point for you all
    Some will know
Swann insurance is part of insurance australia Group
swann is actually underwritten by IAG
    "insurance australia group"
which also as you say is part of NZI
The point im showing is the simple fact that no insurance company (as far as im aware) is completely owned in nz
    Why is this?

There not enough money to cover claims by a nz owned agency
So when premiums increase on your policy , It may not be cause of claims here but most likely claims around the world .
If there a big disaster here in nz, Do you think this little country can cover the claims .....no show

Wrong date. It was Tuesday 11 Dec at 10am the last I heard. It's like an evidentiary hearing where the judge will look at evidence vs what the defense says and will decide if it merits going to a proper hearing. Still open to the public though. I haven't actually heard this from the police though. We have a KBer working at the courts who has given me the info.
