    Give us some info...
    Bike, age.

I got insured with Autoclub as only a couple others would insure me (16yrs with a FZR 1000)

I Have a premium of $770 and excess of $500, seems good to me given my age.

edit: just realised you have no bike an are 19.
Guessing you are going to get a 250, there are many options that others will let you know about.

    Insurance - John Baker Insurance

    Hi people,

As of 5:00pm, Thursday 6th May 2010 I will no longer be working at John Baker Insurance, and therefore will not be able to assist with any motorcycle insurance related questions. For any policy queries please contact the office on 0800 65 62 64.

It has been a pleasure dealing with many of you over the past 6 years, and although I am now out of the motorcycle insurance game I am certainly still riding so will still be seeing some of you out and about.

    Cheers, and happy riding!
    Tim

Just heard that Roger is re opening the bike museum on saturday -Labour weekend. Steam engine going today. new sheds etc.

Could be good ride this weekend for Northern based KBers?

Don't exceed the limit by more than 4ks though. More than that then you will die, so I read.
It's OK to disagree with me. I can't force you to be right.

    Bike insurance?

    Hey Guys.

Firstly, this is and awesome site for help and info on anything to do with bikes. What I'm after is insurance for my first motorbike. An 06 Hyosung GT250 Comet.

I'm looking for an insurance company that will, not only cover my bike for damage but replacement riding gear and helmet. Is there an insurance company that provides such cover?

God forbid my gear gets damaged. That means I was in it at the time it was. There's a thought.

Type "Insurance" in the search thread button and you should get quite few results.

Having said that......... check these guys out. www.kiwibike.co.nz

I think you wont have to look anywhere else after that.
