Hmmm....... not really, the front almost looks KTMish or like the new tenere. Prolly a nice bike, like the other 2, just not something I'd own.

KTM are making Aprilia's now? Or just using their tools- Kinda like the KLX/DRZ thing?

    Sorry Willdat, couldn't resist
Mine runs...apparently, just no lighting at this stage.

DR250S Stator is leaving CHCH today hopefully, and the DR actually only has 17hp...though mine is 0.5 O/S now so that's got to be 0.1 HP given that it's 256 odd cc.

I'd take that Aprillia - it does look like someone stuck red stickers on JMJ's bike though...

Not too sure where to put this photo, so here it is. Going to war and riding motorbikes...

    Lest we forget.

There are two kinds of adventurers: those who go truly hoping to find adventure and those who go secretly hoping they won't. We should come home from our adventures having faced their perils and uncertainties, endured their discomfort and beaten the odds, with a sly acknowledgment and revitalised solidarity of character.

    Nice one Bugs.

I've got a picture of my Grandfather on his BSA just before he went to WW2 (spent 3 years POW, poor bugger).

One of the only things I kept after he died (aged 86) was the original BSA owners manual.
Showing off for the camera since ages ago

The original intention was for this thread not to turn into a DR vs KLR slagging match that a lot of threads seem to descend into. Happily though there have been bikes of both persuasions featured. Doesn't have to be cool though as it's a continuum from subzero (BMW HP2) thru to the 'why did they bother' (FT400)

Last time I checked, Aprilia was still owned by Piaggio, along with Derbi, Moto Guzzi and Vespa to name a few
