The guy is very particular as you can tell by the work. The grage was full of bikes including a lovely txc450 Husky, brand new....He is beginning a rebuild on a 600 Berg...This is one fast unit for sale and I am still keen to take a van up and get it....The resurrection of trail riding, me thinks! The wall was cluttered with notes, as you can see the parts have been replaced with original bits...ALL the bolts are now hex stainless, this bike has had over $5G spent on it....really.....

Looks nice, bet the guy has a garage full of old broken husaberg gearbox components too. I always liked the idea of the hussy's from that era but they were not reliable and relied on the cam chain to get oil to the top end Ktm introduced them to oil pumps and filters.

I so want one of these. Wonder if I could make one out of my Falcon?

KTM LC4s do the same... only splash-feed to the head via the cam chain.
    Cheers,

It's probably a revs thing. LC4s don't rev like the RFS engines. Got two oil pumps, just none to the head. Be interesting to see if the Rallye models run pressure-fed heads.
    Cheers,
    Colin

The LC4 engine has been around for donkeys and there hasn't been issues or they would have done something drastic at KTM with re-designing.....oil pump/no oil pump, splitting hairs at the end of the day...

Yes but I was refering to the early husabergs and there appetite for gearbox and top end components not ktm's DR650 replica . Didn't you have a hussy or two? They ever break?
