    $30,000 for a used 749?

    You couldn't even get that amount for a 749R.

    The sad fact is that a google search for 'Ducati 749' took 0.26 seconds, and came up with a selection of photos. It would've taken the 5#!t-for-brains intern at the herald at least 7 seconds to click through to Pashnit's site and see a photo of the busa (which they pretty much just cut-n-paste).

    Questions:
    Why didn't the idiot just scroll down a bit after their initial search blunder?
    How did the police know it was a 749 and not a 999? If they got close enough to tell the difference, what is the number plate of the bike?

    Because the bike had already been report stolen - see my earlier post in this thread with a link to another thread about the bike having been stolen. It belonged to an acquaintance of someone here on KB by the sounds of it.
