This would be my reaction if my current bike was written off and someone got a Harley for me out of the kindness of their hearts:

I bet lots of you have seen this, but it's too good not to mention.

After being on a hardley you won't want to get back on a sports bike, yeah right!

Seriously it all depends on what type of rideing you are use too, are comfortable with and what you like.
I much prefer something that can handle, has some degree of stopping power, doesn't weight as much as the country of origins dept and lastly has a lot more to give than just an image.

Actually I prefer riding Sports Bikes as they suit my riding style but have an open mind and respect all sorts of bikes. Just rapt to have an opportunity to see what the fuss is all about with these cruising machines.

I've had a good number of Harleys and just this week picked up a new 96" Dyna. The motor's a f'kin' gem and I love it but, just the same, wouldn't part with my Guzzi.

Harleys divide opinion but I think that's more because of the naff, corny marketing and some of the wankers that are drawn to it than the bikes themselves. If a Harley's for you, enjoy it for what it is, not what you think it 'means'. If not, ride something else.

Thats your opinion, just grateful that a mate is letting you ride his pride and joy, even only to lyttleton and back. So will enjoy the ride

Hahaharleys engines make great use for industrial stationary powerplants.
Sludge pumps and alike. Even concrete mixers, only to be rivaled by Briggs and Stratton.

I heard they run on Kerosene, is this true?

    Enjoy the ride

Theres endless video of guys riding cruisers Harley or otherwise faster than many on supposed sportbikes on roads they supposedly cant be fast on,i dont give a fuck what make of bike it is theres not much point in trashing it on the interweb, maybe Harley/cruiser knockers should instead of slagging such bikes simply post "i dont have the ability to ride one quick".

Who cares WHAT kind of bike a guy (or gal) rides, good people ride all sorts, so do arseholes...

And some guys can't ride a sportsbike for shit just like some H-D riders can show a lot of people a quickly disappearing tail-light

    And vice-versa..
