Mebbe a Yamaha thing on the NWern, but it seems to be Sazoox on the others.
There used to be a guy on a GSXRsummat (either a 750 or 1100 - couldn't tell as he was going too fast) that used to lanesplit and weave all over the place over the Harbour Bridge, regardless of how fast the traffic was going. AND the eedjit never wore proper gear, just jeans and sneakers.
Pretty dumb, because there are HP-monitored cameras on the bridge, and he used to ride like a cock pretty consisitently.

Wonder where he is now? :spudwhat:
    Dead?
    Locked up?

    Lane-splitting on the bus?
    ... and that's what I think.

    Or summat.

    Or maybe not...

    Dunno really....

    I reckon.

Funny thing was, just prior to these events, he had a couple on a red Duc (900SS, I think - I've seen them around previously, same guys, same bike) pulled over, receiving a good old talking-to. As I came up towards them, I saw him stop talking, sprint away, jump on his BMW and fang off down the road shoulder.

R6 Boy must have just gone past...

I wonder if they got off their ticket because of it. Hope so.

So now we're all going to be "suspicious" of any newcomer whose bike is an R1, going: "hmmm, I wonder if that's him..."

Good on ya for having a chat with him and inviting him here where he can meet cooler-headed people (providing I shut up)

    R6, not R1, remember.

And I'm sure his identity will be plain if he does join.

Thanks, I'll keep an eye out for R6s in the New Members section.

We've all done stupid shit. According to some they still do.

I recall (young and very inexperienced) popping a wheelie off the line when the lights changed - two-up on my TS125 road/trail - because I wanted to speed off the line to "impress" a stranger on a bigger bike who was stopped across from me.

When we got home the mate of mine who was on the back at the time asked if it was the first time I'd pulled a wheelie two-up. When I admitted it was the first time I'd pulled a wheelie PERIOD, he clipped me on the back of the head for being such a forquit.

    Richly deserved, too.

Really? I was a fine, upstanding, law abiding citizen until I went for a ride or two with some of the people on this site.......

i ride like a twat every now and then but i never put any one in any sort of danger apart from myself ,,,when i come up behind a car in the fast lane i count to five , if they have not pulled to the left i then overtake them on the left (motor way only) i dont ride like a maniac through built up areas ,, go like a nutter on the back roads only

Good point, I'd say 99.999 percent of motorcyclists have put themselves, and others on the road at risk at some time. I'm sure most on this forum certainly have.
It makes me laugh how you all give this guy on the R6 a bollocking, knowing full well you've done similar........
