    Wet arse in Wellington

If I'd left home 8mins earlier or later, it would've been fine...

But because I left exactly when I did, and caught the 5mins of torrential rain, then got to work and sat on my chair to take my gear off, thus wetting my cushioned seat as well, I'll have a wet and pruny arse for the rest of today! Incredibly, my leather jacket kept my top half bone dry while my "high quality" Nortech cordura pants functioned about as well as a seive... Time for some Scotchguard waterproofing spray...

On the bright side, there's a red VFR800 and a blue GS500 (?? I think - only caught a glimpse while splitting) rider who are as wet as me!

Just my morning rant, since it's preferable than actually starting work.

I got caught as well - but just as I was going down victoria and parked opp. the library. I forgot to put my liner back in after yesterday. Luckily the jacket can handle about 2 mins of downpour without it and keep dry.

My gear so far as held up well... not that I really test it as my longest ride is usually about 25 mins, even in heavy traffic.

I was lucky to have just missed the downpour this morning.

Theres nothing quite like sitting at work with wet undies is there.

I got caught which is no biggie but hate having to put the damp gear back on after work! No where to hang gear at work and no heaters on this time of year to help either...

It got me about 400meter before the Terrace tunnel.

So my cheap ass gear held up long enough for me to park up on Willis Street.

Was traveling behind another 5 bikes just before the Aotea Quay off ramp. I wonder how wet they got. my mate on a Blue Scorpion got soaked as he got stuck at the lights just after he went down the Aotea Quay off ramp.

Got dripped on a little bit coming down Featherstone Street but everything remained dry underneath the leathers. Weather looks much nicer out now!

Was glad I put the waterproofs on this morning - although you'd never have forecast rain in the Hutt!

Saw a biker cop just near Aotea Quay too - looked like there was a fairly munted bike next to his too...

Think I recognise the bike Drogen - do you don't hang around!

Last time I stopped in Mana and slipped the wets on it stayed dry.
This morning I chose to ignore the ominous looking black thing above Welly and plowed on. - DOH!

Seriously it looked like someone had seriously pissed off the rain gods and they were having their revenge, but just on Wellington.

I thought I would beat the weather this morning so didn't wear wet weathers. Ride down the motorway was okay but as soon as I stopped at the first set of lights on the offramp, it peed down !!!
    Got rather wet !!

However, I did see a motorcycle cop parked at the side of the road just past the Aotea offramp guarding a parked up against the armco (facing the other way) silver Bandit 250.
    Hope he/she is okay.
