Finally My life Is GO0D (until NEXT writeoff)

    LMAO YES I AM GOD!

Well I picked up my ZXR today, man I've never had so much fun on a bike ever in my life

Never thought I would see a 250 with such a huge aftermarket exhaust and bloody amazing acceleration, it pulls over 180 easy (speedo is aparently 4% out)

I will get pictures tommorrow, sorry to that GSX-R rider that I couldnt wave to my wrist was sore and I was stretching and I looked up and missed you only to see you wave so heres one for ya :spudwave:

I don't understand, the speed limit is 100?
Good stuff mate, it's always nice to hear people enjoying their bikes. It's hard not to though! (a few unfortunate KB exceptions...)

    Waiting for pics
    Ride safe,
    Dave.

Does that 4% make it under or over? How did you figure out that it was out, or were you just told?

Yes, yes, of course he meant "on a closed private road, under controlled conditions, with appropriate safety considerations, etc. etc."

Thanks for the replies, well heres the long events of the day.

I went down to Auckland with my mother and sister, as I dont have a credit rating and they said that I wouldnt qualify for one but anywho, it all went through and went ok and I geared up and got ready to leave, after figuring out how much of a bitch it wanted to be to start that day for some reason was amazing, 10mins later it roared into life.

So I went for a quick loop to get the handling and acceleration sorted out and see what it could do then a painfull atempt to get on the northern motorway, but after abit of quick thinking I managed to get on and was off blasting down the motorway (first time on the motorway) and found the drivers to be OK'ish it was around 1 so it wasnt real busy.

Then I hit the albany (new motorway bit) and some random bmw 328i's came for a party but I steadly declined, and pulled out of there way. (good boy huh )

Started into the 'bush' and headed north after a quick refil and a drink, then stoped about three more times to regain myself, and then pootled home, with the acception of blasting a few holdens/a subaru, and giving myself the willies when I actually hit 180 easily

Then I headed to the dargaville hospital to see my brothers new baby, that was all good hadnot seen him for a long time (he even loved the bike!).

The exhaust on it is nice as hell, its a JCMA full system its like a 'civic vtec, big zorst etc no wastegate' at ide, and when it starts over 5000rpm, its bloody deafening even heard easily over the wind, I compare it to a GSXR1000 easy (sound wise).

At the last set of lights in whagarei I was greated by two mid 20yo's with an escudo, RICED out as hell - they camly lean over and say 'wanna drag' I dont know if it was teh fatigue, or the mear balls they had to ask or just the fact it was an escudo (my mate has one and it is a joke) but I cracked up laughing, just about dropping my bike in the proccess, then I asked them 'are you serious?' that was answered by the reving of its furious engine of huge suzuki power (one to which they are soooooo good for ) and yea, even though I was piled behing about 4 cars, I roasted him home by about 20sec and it was only 300m at the most to my house, and I didnt even break 60 doing it, then they roared past me as I turned into my house trying to 'drop it'. That was the highlight of the day, even if I had to give the bike back tommorrow that would have being worth it.

But when I got home, I thought to myself (after a few misses of cops in town thanks to a few kind citizens flashing....lights) man those brakes were abit crappy compared to the ZZR,and got home, and looked at the forks, blow my goats fork oil everywhere on both wheels, I had tech in the morning and hadto sleep it was a huge trip to do on a bike I havnt ridden before, but it was nice to get up and personal with the bike.

In the morning I managed to get up for tech at 6, and went and checked it again, the main problem is the fact that there was oil everywhere on my brake disks, pads - actually SOAKED (no exageration), then I checked the rear, to notice all the crap that they put on the chain had being dripping on the tires, (good thing I wasnt riding as hard as normal!) so I managed it unscaved, I called red baron and they are paying for it to be repaired up in whangarei which I am happy about, and I will also get the alarm that Red Baron gave me installed.

Anyway thanks for reading that load of rubbish, if you see a little boy with red/white/black leathers (AND GLOVES!) smiling his face off wave back to me please , or pull me over and we can have a chat - I will be keen for some KB'er rides now, as soon as I get it done so sorry about that 'justsomeguy' but I cant do any long trips until I get the forks resealed.

also they did a gauge acuracy test for me thats how I know what percentage it is.

Sorry about pictures, but I was at tech all day, I will gets some tommorrow in the sunlight cuz it just looks snazzier
