Ignore this...I'm losing it, had 'manawatu' pluged in as search only

It's not you. I just did a search on trademe for something and it returned some strange results. It has "Manawatu" as a defined area which I never selected.

Trademe put their classified price up from $19 to $29 and I guess people are looking at alternatives (read : ones which aren't exercising their manopoly)

Care to list the alternatives i.e. other websites; I'm still looking and trademe is looking scarce for what I want.

sadly as I said Trademe is a MANOPOLY ... they might not offer the instantaneous gratification of a website but Motorcycle Trader have been trying to encourage private ads back to their rag of late (or so I understand) so I was going to give them a whirl

if the Kiwi wasn't so sick you could do worse than look at eBay or Craig's List in the US, after that Google Motorcycle auctions to turn up the few other options
