Just a beach run or is there some more challenging stuff included.
Dunno whether to go Practice at the Sandpit instead?
Although might be a good time to see what the 200 will do on one tank?
Whats it like! Haven't been before.

On a Motorcycle you're penetrating distance, right along with the machine!! In a car you're just a spectator, the windshields like a TV!!
'Life's Journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out! Shouting, ' Holy sh!t... What a Ride!! '
Sunday 8th March
Waikaretu Beach Run
One Loop Approx 85km, Lunch and Fuel Stop half way, (Trucks for Food and Fuel Provided, or Lunch can be brought at lunch stop)
Map

NO KIDS LOOP AT THIS EVENT
track is on the harder side for our riders, with some good uphils and some internal loops if you want to do some more km's, the track is about 80km long, but with a set of sand dunes to play in, and a couple of smaller internal loops i would reccomend having a few litres of fuel for a lunch time top up, (and the fact i really dislike towing people with no fuel home to)
it is the old style lead trail ride that some people do not like, but it has its own charm and relaxed atmosphere, you can by your lunch at half way and there is always a good shit talking session to be had with fellow bikers.
last things is with this ride you can not turn up late, if you are not on your bike and out of the pits by 10.30 you miss the ride, no exceptions,
Thanks mate was hoping you'd post! Looks like rain as well late in the week but dry for the ride so might set it up for a good day if there's any mud there at all!!

How many people usually turn up fo this ride?
we may just go where no ones been
best we had was 450 last year, normally around 350-400, however we are averaging more riders than previous years,
are there many places where jams could occur?
