    Damn Bikers!

    Incident No 1

On Lake Road at 6.40am. I am pretty visible, Red bike, headlights on high beam with LED running lights...oh and a red jacket..geezer on a black cruiser just comes up to side road...am about 6 bike lengths away...looks at me and waltzes out...sound my horn...later go past him on Esmonde Road, wag my finger and he just gestures "WTF"...meet him in Ponsonby...I am filtering, he is in the left lane...and moves out in front of me and then indicates..doesn't seem to care.

Ironic he was wearing a Dayglo Vest for visibilty.

    555 done

    Incident No 2

    Stopped at traffic lights...indicating left.

Some bum on a Honda wearing shorts and teeshirt comes up alongside me....mmm..I am turning left mate pointing to my bright mini indicators...err I didn't see that..."and you say car drivers are bad" I says.

Just shows that it is attitude not what you ride / drive that counts.

The Day glo vest is actually there to serve as a warning to *other* road users. Talk about irony!

One day it'll be a car they waltz out in front of...

    All for one.
    AND ONE FOR ALL, RAAAWR!
Got to test out my new front wheel 3 times on the way back from the shop today, one was an Amblie-ince!

See, that is where you went wrong love, you should have had the day glow vest on then you too could have got away with his antics

Yeah, I hear that there are some bikers that are invincible, most of us are simply invisible

Everybody out there is an idiot !!! Don't matter what they drive/ride/push/walk ! They're in their own little worlds !
Me ?? well thats a whole new ball game, hell i know whats going on all the time, i see all brother, even before it happens ! And i predict i wont have an incident where any fucker pulls out, cuts me off, or any such thing while riding a motorcycle on the road for a long time to come !
A girlfriend once asked " Why is it you seem to prefer to race, than spend time with me ?"
The answer was simple ! "I'll prolly get bored with racing too, once i've nailed it !"

    Bowls can wait !

And i was taking the piss out of your welcoming in all the gaylords avatar Grahame

Edit : But you are right ! Thats why i stopped ! Not a dreamer like your two idiots you came across, but an idiot who in fact was a danger to himself and others on the road ! (not to mention my lovely Heidi who feels she keeps me safe by being on the back, Who said irony ? )

    Dumcati

Guy on a Ducati on Shelly's Beach about 2 cars back from Jervois. Decides it is a good idea to go onto the other side of the road and mount the pedestrian island...manages to get out and almost hits the car in front....he shoots off..somehow I meet him on Ponsonby Road...I politely told him that he was not setting a good example for motorcylist..."I can do what I like" he says...I agreed but said he was not setting a good example....he gives me the finger...

Badattitude is not limited to cars...

Be aware that those mini indicators - particularly the clear non tinted ones - can be very hard to see at times.

I know they are the trend these days, but i reckon they shouldn't be legal.
