Thanks for waiting for me Aslan

And especially thanks Joe for organizing an awesome ride.

And despite Pampa's claims that if there's no photo's it didn't happen, he did slip in the puddle at the entrance of the Sutherlands Hut track and pretty much completely submerged the bike.

I've never seen anyone move so fast to avoid getting caught by the camera though. My camera was only half out of the case and he was upright and out of the puddle again.

Got home soaked, warmed up in the shower, Mark how was the Akatarawa road, did you go that way. On the way back had to put my foot down hard on that 35k corner at the start of the Akatarawa Road, a first.

Joe good stuff organising, that view round the coast, spectacular. Pablo what happened in that puddle? well no one was around to see me, my front wheel caught in a grassy rut coming into Sutherlands.

it was cold and feking wet and a car decided it wanted my bit of road in the tight stuff near the summit

    No worries Dave

Great day everyone, cheers to Joe for organising it
Thanks to Mark for helping me out on the lake ferry run and Pablo for the
    push up that hill

I've got some pics which I'll get up later.
I stuffed up the camera settings accidently and most of the pics are low res and washed out

Thanks a lot guys for another awesome ride. Cheer Joe for sorting it all out. Loved that track around the coast.

I made it home safe, and got to see some more awesome roads thanks to GSERS (who by the way, is pretty bloody quick on that big beemer. I was doing 100kph down one gravel section and he was pulling away).

Haha, I had the right bike for that track. Shame it was the wrong bike for the other 520 km I did today. I can hardly sit down.

Absolutely shattered. Will post some pics tomorrow.
