Da da dar da da dar.....Chips?

Officer Jon baker and Officer Francis Llewellyn 'Ponch' Poncherello what a couple of legends.
If only the NZ cops were as cool as these fellas. Racing around on their BIG Kawasaki's, the slick hair and lady killer looks.
Actually they didnt even have moustashes did they? I guess their NZ counterparts are going for the John Holmes look?
    Long live the CHP.
Apparently Erik Estrada is still cranking out the guest apperances on third rate telly shows and doing some useful community work in the area of child porn (true), I need not draw any comparisons?!

I was in love with Ponch when I was about eight years old.

The opening credits are on Youtube (can't access Youtube on this computer so someone else will need to do the linky thing). Gets my blood pumping every time I hear that music start!

Probably "I reckon the next person to tell me what I should be wearing, will get kicked in the face as I ride by."

Personally, I'm suprised they kept a show going for so long, considering.
Some people just can't seem to comprehend that they do not have the right to be unoffended in their lives.

My Dad painted up an old open face helmet just like "CH"iPs"for my brother, man I was SO jeaulous, He looked pretty ridiculous, this spindly 4 year old with an enormous helmet riding a bike with training wheels singing DA DA DaDA DA!!! But I thought it was the coolest thing ever. I just got stupid dolls.
