    Aftermarket service?

    brought a harley from said shop in dunnas great bike goes hard anyway got bike back to southland and the tail light doesnt work rang them up was told to take it to a local shop to get fixed, so needs a new tail light connection shop in dunnas said we'll get the part sent down 17 days latter numerous phone calls a little bitchen and still no part. so i say to the guy hey just want my bike legal for insurance in case of cashing or whatever the salesmens advice was if u crash kick the rear of the bike in what a f@#kwit so they got my money and are now full of excusers of why they havent got the part apprently being sent from oz and i might as well get used to it because its a harley.

    normally takes a 7-10 days from oz depends when it was ordered and if it was in oz,if it has to come from the usa a bit longer what year and model is the bike.

    On the flip side, I bought an '06 Speedmaster from the main Triumph agent in Dunedin a few weeks ago. When it later transpired that the bike had been built for the German market so had a headlight that dipped the wrong way, they sent a replacement to me in ChCh by courier.

    No complaints at all and would happily trade with them again.

    yea pays to shop around here in dunnas.
    but in saying that, wherever you go your bound to have a issue from time to time
    i dont deal with said harley trader or the yamaha shop or kawasaki
    whats left?

    plastic fabricator/welder here if you need a hand ! will work for beer/bourbon/booze

    Get them to take the part out of one of their floor stock bikes.
    If you can't fix it with a hammer, you've got an electrical problem.
