Any interest in a Husaberg or two?

    Hard times.....Have to sell up....stuff.

I know, the whole country is or was at some stage but does anyone want to buy.....

    1. 2004 Husaberg Fe450e 16 litre tank plus original, gets over 365Km range
two owners from new, 55 hours approx from new, one adventure ride, rest road and 42 Traverse twice.....Great bike, road legal etc.....

    2. 2005 Husaberg Fe450e, original tank but can fit the Clarke 16 litre on. This one should have it as the kick start lever is shorter than the 2004 and did have it but I wanted to ride the other one too....
It has more hours but goes very well, strong battery on both, easy start and again road legal....Will easily hit 160Kph, but you wouldn't stay there without fairings.... or a windscreen...

Looking for offers, but seriously if you are in the want for an adventure bike, legal and looked after, then any one of these could be the go...

The 2005 has the bash plate, newer KTM speedo, the 2004 has the Husaberg speedo, has more functions on it than my KTM Adventure!

    Hi...
Looking for $5800 for the 2004 with the bigger tank and extra tank...the Clarke tank was over $800 with decals. 300Km + to the tank is awesome for the adventure rides...As you can see it looks like the Husaberg tank anyway, no shrouds and narrower, purposely made for the Berg...
The guy I bought it off in the US races them on the Baja..

    $4750 for the 2005.....
I have spent heaps on getting the tank, the exhaust stainless protection and bits...Mechanically, these guys are faultless! Body on them is very nice... I have had a Fe450 motocross earlier, had issues, and now these are KTM umbrella bikes, they are so much more reliable..Start with the e-start and using the kicker it is a stroke down, nice and easy...Mind you, never HAD to use it, just do sometimes because it is easy...

Q1: Do u know how many ours do they go? before top-end, bottom-end and all that
Q2: How is the servicing like, either to do it yourself as well as the shop (in this case $ )
Q3: Er how is the 2005 cheaper than the 2004? (just the ours).

Q4 (nosey): May I ask why do u have two of the same bike? I know is not my biz so feel free not to answer

    Cheers,

I had an older version which was still going strong at 400hrs, that is until it ended upside down with the throttle jammed full open...........even then it lasted a good minute before it went knocky, knocky...
These are a very good bike, have a serious look (and no, I don't know NZKTM)

I have known these to do large hours without any maintenance other than oil changes etc. My 2004 has done approx 80 odd hours now. I guess it does depend on how hard you sre riding it. I know 150hours is common before looking at the engine, pistons etc. Would be very similar to the KTM 450exc etc...

I do all of my servicing, other than something like gearbox or anything that involves taking the engine apart. I have done most things when needed. KTM dealers, Husky dealers will be able to source parts and these are reasonably priced. A lot of KTM parts will fit the Husabergs.

The 2005 is now in bits and pieces, it is complete, although in three banana boxes. I will not be splitting it up, it is for sale as a complete bike in parts. The engine needs work, don't ask, it is a long story, rfer to thew other post I have in the classifieds if you want more information.

Price has dropped on the Husaberg....

I am open to offers and the price is $4800. You get a bike with 380Km range, reliable and everything is very neat and tidy....
Look what you get for that sort of money these days? A 250cc perhaps?
