Emissions testing to be introduced for WOF

If they test for particulates, that will kill diesels running on the fuel oil they call diesel in NZ. The Gummint's talking about cleaner fuel standards too, but I'll believe it when I see it.
It remains to be seen what the emmission limits are and what exemptions will be allowed for classic cars, etc.
Besides, the whole thing is a sop to the Greens, to keep them sweet after Helen and Jeanette's lovers spat. They located 2 or 3 small areas in Auck with a high concentration of vehicle emmissions and claim we have a nationwide pollution problem.
