    Unhappy I had an accident

Well there I was waiting to exit King Edward Parade onto Victoria Street, Devonport...felt a push from behind and in a slow motion way fell to the ground.

Only damage was a broken clutch lever, left indicator...I have brought my mirror's in so they are inside the width of the bars so they did not catch which would have caused more damage. Even the ogg knobs were unscathed...as it was slow the bike just rested on the ba ends and foot peg.

First accident since 1985 and I was hit in the rear..lol

Agree with mom ... far too cute in leathers for those in cars to ignore you.

How can you rear end a bike for goodness sake. Especially a big red one with a scary looking fulla on it
    Glad the damage is minimal.

Perfection is not something you should ever attain, but something to always strive for. For if we actually achieve our idea of perfection, is it then any longer perfect?

I am a bit sore...felt okay when I woke up but just riding to work and my neck is a bit icky as well as arm...glad I don't have Nats this weekend with all the lifting.

In a knee jerk reaction I heavily put my helmet on his bonnet...seeing your bike on it's side and you need it for work etc...and he had the cheek to say that he hoped I had not damaged the bonnet...I just plonked it down a bit less lightly but otherwise I was civil and he tried to explain and I just said look geezer no point really and we shook hands afterwards.

    Probably be about $200 max

Heavily is relative to the adrenaline flowing mate What you thought was heavy might actually have only been a gentle placing of it
