easiest fix for you is a roll of matt black vinyl. Plaster away for a couple of hours for instant ratter. So long as you originals are in good nick a bit of hardryer heat on the matt black will see it give up way before the factory ones want to lift wth it.

The orig stickers are in really good nick, thats why my dad wants them to remain there.

Now I've got a basic job and getting a bit more money, I could save up for some fibreglass fairings instead, leave the other aside before I hurt them more than I already have

Hmm, who keeps one of these beasties more than a week after they get their full licence? I'm curious about the relative resale value of the bike with newish fibreglass fairing with partly shagged "learner stage" fairings available to be fitted, compared with vice versa/ brand new fairing.
What's your motivation for customising the bike?

    Curiosity I guess :spudwhat:

Edit: Curiosity ain't the right word, I've just always been interested in modifying my own bike or car

Yep cool. I'm not too worried about durability as this is my race bike and its paint jobs have a live expectancy of about 2 months.

So that's why you want three pair! One race season's worth.

I have dispatched two decal sets thus far so hoping the satisfied customers will put something up to confirm the quality.

I got one, it looks good. Haven't affixed it yet, think I better wiat until I've got plenty of time, and in a patient mood. But the quality looks fine. Recommendation here .

Question...I have a set of custom decals for my ZXR250C (refer to my profile picture) but had to get them from Aussie. I have scanned them and will at some stage trace them to a vector file...If I do this, how much would it be to reproduce the decals?

I'm just worried that if I crash it or ever need to replace some decals it will cost me a fortune (the whole set from Aussie did). Whats the easiest way to convert to a vector file? Does AutoCAD have an automatic trace option? I don't want to spend all day drawing polylines around the Ninja decals! Cheers

There are any number of vector-conversion programs out there. The end result is usually less than desireable tho and needs a lot of cleaning up with node deletion etc. In saying that, the better the resolution of the original bitmap = the better end result. CorelTrace is as good as anything.
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

G'day Wildcat, I have a "ninja" on file very similar to your one. The rest are a piece of cake to reproduce if you've got scans of the originals.
