    Ouch!

Looks like his left shoulder smashed through the car window so that's quite an impact on its own. Then his left leg would have taken quite a wolloping. I wonder what injuries he has to show for this little adventure.

As for it being a fraud, I think it's real. There are photographers at deals gap taking photos of bikes all the time and selling the resulting pics to the riders as souvenirs. Completely credible that there would have been a photographer there at the time snapping pics at a pretty fast rate.

It doesn't seem like his buddy in front has yet spotted the accident.

He was very lucky to get off so lightly.

It is one of the B I G hazzards of riding in pairs and trying to keep up with a better rider.

well done and not overcooked. lets hope it was a stunt - one would hope so with the camera shots being so well poised.

Looking at the brake light it seems it may be a bit of target fixation, seen the SUV, hit the brakes, stood the bike up and gone further across.

Following the running shoe as it leaves his foot presumably pulled off by the car on impact is interesting. It does it's own thing in every shot till it gets hidden by the car.

The sound in the SUV from the impact and window popping would have been huge. Hopefully there were no kids in the back to hear (and see) that.

It's not often you get the snaps to go with the off though.

There's no way that's staged judging by the fact the other rider moves further away and the shadows on the SUV change.

    As for what happened...

I'd guess this is a hairpin (looking at the last pic) that has a decreasing radius i.e. tightening.

$10 says the gixxer either overcooked the entry and/or freaked out at the tightening corner and ran wide on exit.

Classic example of why you don't apex until you can see the exit of the corner.
