Whoa man, glad to hear your OK. It's fully amazing how blind cagers can be. I was riding beside a car on the motorway today. Him in a suzuki alto, me right next to his door on the right, freakin newly polished visible from space red ducati twin that my wife claims she can hear from two blocks away so not dull or quiet and this mensa candidate starts slowly pulling right with even so much as an indicator. I hit the newly installed super loud horn and this Phd suddenly jolts awake and gives me a dirty look, like where the F did you come from. Duh I'd been next to him for about 5 K's.

Hope you mend well and your back on the road soon.

Well the other guy is now saying I dented his bonnet...did not see anythng at the time...says I did not show him damage to my bike etc, I showed him the # lever and told him the whole deal the next day so for the sake of $295 inc some physio I have decided to let go and told him I would rather pay myself rather than deal with someone like him as I don't want to waste the energy.

Not the end of the world....

Had you reported it to the police? If I was in that situation and had not reported it to police then I sure as hell would report it after he got bitchy about his bonnet.

    Christ.

I'd go to around to his house and put a few more bloody dents in the damn bonnet.
The greatest pleasure of my recent life has been speed on the road. . . . I lose detail at even moderate speed but gain comprehension. . . . I could write for hours on the lustfulness of moving swiftly.

Any dent in his bonnet will be the result of him hitting you mate, nothing more or less. Sounds like he needs a bit of an attitude adjustment to me. Hope you have documented the damage to your bike, and have costs associated with repairing it, and yourself too. Very magnanimous of you to walk away from it, but sounds to me that he will pursue you for his dented bonnet somehow. Report to cops so it is documented. They wont do anything, but at least you have it officially recorded.

Nah....out of mind now....no evidence on his part...I had about 10 so he can do what he likes...I have energy for more important things....and as you know I have had much harder issues to deal with so this does not register...

Will try and pop up tomorrow if I can...
