    A Thank You!

Just wanted to say "thanks" to all you guys & gals who have helped me with advice and suggestions along my decision making ride to trading up from the KLX250S to a bigger bike.

And "thanks" to all of you for your kind comments & encouragement after (finally!) getting the DR650 today - really appreciated it!

See you on the road - or preferably off it!

(ok that's your lot - I'll be back to my normal cheeky, sarcastic bastid mode tomorrow, heehee!)

(actually I'll just be in drooling at Toppys mode tomorrow!)
    Cheers, Dave

it is a little worry just how thin the bottom of the engines are, not much down there at all.
to look at the damage to paladins bike, its more of a graze than a direct hit, very interesting...

my mate works at the alloy boat builders, he did some alloy cast welding on my XR600 side case, so i guess he will eather fill the hole, smooth it out, or place a small patch over hole and weld around it.

and i think a new skid plate wont go a miss eather... aye dave.......
