Just me or prices on the rise?

Bike manufacturers are not making 250 sports bikes like they were 20 years ago. The 250cc 4 cylinder high revving sports bike is a thing of the past (unfortunately AFAIC) and most new bikes are twins or singles. Look at the new ninja for example... it is no longer finicially viable to make them, higher productions costs and people not willing to pay the extra $$$.

With performance not nearly as good as early 90's bikes and increased rider numbers, there will always be demand = increased prices. Unless the new law comes into effect, broadening the range of bikes available to learner/restricted riders. My 2C

Good bikes, as longs as it has been looked after. I would definitely take a decent condition cbr250 over a late model Hyobag any day, they're not even in the same league.

If you want a bike, you want a bike. If they have a bike for sale, SOMEONE is gonna buy it. No skip 250cc's, no magical Hayabusa licence, and guess what they have for sale...

a pretty good conditioned zxr250 1990 for $2750. To me, a little ruffed up bike (fairings wise) in the 250 range were going cheaper. But those well looked after models with moderate kms, people are wanting rediculous prices. Definatly not worth them hey

it doesn't pay to read the figures in a mirror when doing currency conversions mujambee.....$1nz bought 80yen , now buys 50yen so a 100,000 yen bike was $1250.00 now $2,000.00.
