White Ford Focus CCP792 in Wgtn

The c*nt driving this (work) car is in for a real surprise.... He was tailgating me for awhile, with nowhere to go. He then decided to pass me on the right in the same lane I was in. When I changed lanes he then started swerving from the right lane into the left lane trying to hit me. When I slowed down he slowed down so I had no choice but to drop down a couple of gears and get the f*ck away from him. I am a bit to shocked right now but I am going to report him to the Police tomorrow and I WILL be following the matter up. Beer will heal all worries for tonight...

And you know it was a work car, how? Signwriting? Complaint to employer too....
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

Absolutely. I had some young twat go hooning past me (I was in a car) one afternoon and then cut in front of some woman with her kids in the car. I took a note of the company and the rego, rang the workplace and they were keen to reprimand him.

Cause as he was swerving at me I noticed the decals and some company name. didnt get the name but would recognise the logo if I saw it again. I was more interested in getting the numberplate of the vehicle though and when I got home I looked it up on carjam, details are current. Guy looked like a "worker". Older balding white guy...

Im not reporting it now as I am feeling really crook with the flu/stomach thing and as it is now I am shaking so much I couldnt ride for awhile....

I'm not excusing his actions in the slightest but, you have to wonder whether he's lost wing mirrors in the past through no fault of his own.

Hey Hels - glad you're still in 1 piece! I can only imagine how terribly shook up you're feeling right now. Take care and when you're feeling better tomorrow make sure you call the cops on his arrogant arse!

Did you miss the bit where I said I wasn't excusing his actions in the slightest?

Maybe those motorcyclists who habitually push their luck aiming for gaps in the traffic that were never on, or those who, because they're in a bad mood, smack off a wing mirror simply because they think they've been hard done by, should stop and consider the environment that they're contributing towards for the rest of us motorcyclists.

I've had car drivers almost kill me, but I haven't turned into a psychopath out to smash all car drivers. Yes motorcyclists have to take responsibility for their own actions, but attempting to excuse his actions (the "I'm not attempting to excuse his actions but.." rings about as true as the immortal line "I'm not a racist but...") by trying to imply that there is a collective responsibility on the part of motorcyclists is disingenious at best. It sounds to me that by defining your internet persona by dint of constant calls for motorcyclists to accept responsibility for their own safety (something that we all agree with, at least to some extent) you have grown increasingly extreme and have finally arrived at a point where you are defending the indefensible. I have heard that you are a reasonable person in real life, why is it that you insist on your internet persona becoming a caricature which most find impossible to take seriously?

Fair call Str8, but how about you do me a favour eh? Sit down and write out exactly what happend, what he looked like, the description of the company logo the lot. Then go and have yourself a nice hot bath and relax. Glad you were able to get out of this lunatics way mate. Do report it tomorrow, first thing!

Big of you not to excuse his actions I am sure, but totally unnecessary addition to your post. Hope the hell you never meet a dick head like this driver when you are commuting in traffic mate. What a stupid friggen thing to say!

Hey guy's, I actually agree with katman.... There are a number of bikers that give the rest of us bad names. Maybe he was having a bad day, not that I am excusing the lunatic driver!
