    Suspension upgrade

Any ideas on decent front suspension upgrades for paralever r100gs? heavier springs maybe, also seen a guy with ohlins cartridge inserts does anyone know where you can get these and where is the best place to get a white power rear shock serviced. Cheers

You're back! Where the ride report & photos?

Kokopelli organised import of some inserts from Germany. There's a thread over in ADVrider

R80ST, never registered in NZ, Buy Now $2250. Some one buy it before I do something Mandy will regret. Buy now is ridiculously cheap...No relationship with the seller.

Promised myself I'd not waste time on TradeMe - resolve was weak - took a gander - I have the same challenge as Box'a'bits - hugely tempting but I don't need it - nice bike for someone - paging Koko?

Tempting isn't it, even if it was just for swapping over parts. It's got to be worth it.

    Angry Problem with R1150GS

    G'Day,

Bought a 94 R1150 GS recently. Rode back from work, tank on reserve, refuelled at petrol station and drove off. After 2 kms broke down on the highway, engine cut out and could not restart. With ignition starting, petrol flow ok, but seems to have no spark. Met some amazing people (Mike , Bruce and Alison from Paraparaumu) who helped me out. Took bike to bike shop in town. I thought it might be the hall sensor, but the they think it could be the fuel regulator. Any thoughts anyone and is this a common problem? I hope this will fix the bike because I want it back on the ride asap . Thanks.

Don't want to be a dick, but there is no such thing as a '94 R1150GS. I am guessing you have an 1100 ? If it has no spark, it's probably not fuel related. The only time I got stranded due to a fuel related issue, was when I hadn't had the fuel hose plugged in correctly, after about 500km it finally separated. That took a while to diagnose :-) I've heard that the hall sensor could be a problem with these bikes. '94s were the first year, so here is hoping that all the bikes problems have been taken care off over the years.
