About time ACC was privatised, then I would be happy to have private medical insurance. Paying around a couple of grand levy's now and dont have any choice except to walk everywhere.

To baffle or not. What do you think should hold about 15 Ltrs

That's why I said about baffles introducing structural rigidity. It's all central, so slop will be fine. My nylon tank is divided by the frame spine, which gives some baffling, but there is a heap of potential movement there. But nylon can move - steel not so much... 15ls is not much though
You could put some evomx foam baffle cubes in . Got them on the klr with the big tank and they definitely work.
I mentioned vegetables once, but I think I got away with it...........
So your saying you dont feel the fuel slopping around at slow speed. ie: changes in bike weight feeling.
I wonder how they would stand up to being put inside the tank before I welded the top in place.
I will google it tomorrow and check it out. Thanks

Day in the shed couldn't find fittings that I wanted to make these tanks work so have had to make them.

2 old petcock YZ tank
3 replacement for petcock to 3/4 hose
4 outlet to weld into the bottom of the tank

I don't think it will end up being a bargain but will be interesting to see what it goes for. I have an amount in mind I will bid up to.
