fair call Gerard - glad you're back riding again - as to a current photo I don't have one - the existing shot is courtesy of Merv from several years ago

43l Airhead GS G/S HPN tank on trade me

The guys has indicated that its made from Kevlar AKAIK these were nylon or plastic so take that with a BIG grain of salt. Nylon were paintable. Always possible that it was a replica. Cap seems to say plastic. Here's the link. $450 at present which is cheap. Based in Nelson. You'd need to check that the mounts are all there. Touratech was retailing these in Nylon for NZD2k+.
IT'S JUST BETTER WHEN THERE'S TWINS INVOLVED..

    Another day in the shed.

Finally have something in there that looks like it may hold petrol. Next step is to pressure test it give it a clean up, a bit of filler and a coat of paint. Progress but slow.

You're going to need more than one zip tie to hold the swing arm on...

Ok. I admit my taste in bikes is simple. I couldn't ever see myself riding this down the street without feeling like the most conspicuous dick in town

Yeah but then you would have to spend thousands again on the suspension unless you are just going to ride it up and down the main street.
    Ooh a scratch !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
