Email them a note about what you need if it's not listed. They don't rip-off with shipping costs and are relatively cheap compared to other BMW parts places.

Also, I seem to be the only one that's had a good experience with Chicago BMW- I ordered a FD bearing (the big Crown 899 bearing) at a listed US$130ish and for some reason they discounted to US$90.

Got my new cable and it wasn't all that badly priced. On a cents per kilometre basis it was 0.000517c per km.

That was the only problem I had obtaining parts for that Beemer.
It wasn't mine, and I know little or nuthin' about the 'orrible krautwagons and the site was organised under "oilheads", "hexheads" and the like (surely as a German bike, there should be a "Squarehead" model).

Agreed, but a quick browse of their site shows they do stock the 13mm Magura kit he should need for the PD.

Eddie, just curious - what's the size of the E09 on the rear?

edit: asking since it looks like only size available is a 130 and I've been told that any bigger than a 120 rubs the swingarm?

Someone will need to convert that from old money to new money.

Thanks NordieBoy. I couldn't make sense of any conversion info I found online.

So I guess that means you can get a 120 E09 - just what I wanted to hear.
