I never found this an issue however and it does add to the character of riding the bike. Plus you can use it to your advantage when cornering.
I used to work with a guy who had done a trillion miles on Bmw Monolever RS's. He said the tecnique for cornering was to brake before the corner and power through the corner. This would raise the rear and give more clearance before scraping. What was bad was to be scraping, and throttle off

I used it for for pulling the bike tighter into a corner.
Right corners then gas it and the bike drops into the corner more, let the gas off and it will stand up a bit
Left corners the opposite, gassing it makes the bike stand up a bit and letting the gas off drops the bike into the corner more.

Ok -so you mean you have to keep remembering which is your spoon hand & which is your bumwipe hand when riding a mono.

Another one from my favourites. This is one of Richie Moore"s latest creations. The motor is very trick so it goes as good as it looks. Richie is UK based and has a buisness building bikes like this. He has some very trick pistons and other gear available and is a very clever engineer. I LIKE THIS BIKE.

That has got to have been translated (Very badly) from German or something surely. No native english speaker could have written that.

I just got the part about the cow getting off the ground... the rest ????

That GS build up will be interesting. Not sure what he means about the new swingarm tho - is he gonna beef up the replacement or fabricate a new type. The shattered one looks as thin as an easter egg.

It looks like he's keeping the "TelyTubby" front end. I reckon I'd rather have a conventional set of forks

Looks to me like he is building a double wishbones with girder type front suspension the same as used on the Britten and later BMW 1200 I would think if he is, that front wheel travel will be restricted compared to standard forks but probably more than the standard telelever. Will have to find future reports on this project. regards GSers
