I keep remembering things, it's got 30mm handlebar risers too.
And it has Emgo bark busters, though the mounts on the right hand side one are damaged and taped up.

Why are you getting rid of it? Are you putting all the miles on the KTM now?
If you can't sell it I'll take all the good bits off it - for free even!!
I'm selling it for a number of reasons
I've made huge progress with setting up the KTM recently and it's handling pretty well now, I can ride over bumps without it spitting me out of the seat even
The cash would come in handy, I'm having some health issues around energy levels and exhaustion and am living in a half renovated house. It's looking like I might have to pay someone to come and and finish the prepping and painting cause I'm struggling with having enough energy to do it myself.
The 3rd reason is related to the 2nd one really also, The cash and energy in maintaining 2 bikes in terms of cleaning and servicing, cause lets face it ADV riding requires more of both than road riding does, and the cost of rego'ing/ wof's and insurance on 2 bikes isn't something I want to bear right now given I'm not even getting to ride one of them as much as I would like.
I still love the airheads though, If I was going round the world I'd do it on an airhead. I love the balance, the torque, the shaft drive and how it makes the rear wheel feel directly connected to your right hand, the simplicity, the way BMW tune their bikes for mid range and not the last 1000 revs at the top end are all things that I love about them.
The 950 actually feels far weaker in the mid range to me, the 950 is most likely way more torquey and definately more powerful at any given rev range or % revs, but the difference in the way they are tuned makes it feel much stronger right where you use the bike 90% of the time.
I'd love to get a mono swingarm bike and make it really mine, better front end, build some custom racks for it etc. Maybe later if one comes up at the right price and I don't have a house renovation hanging over me......

Glad to hear the KTM is finally getting broken in.
Sorry to hear about your health issues. It's a hard one trying to do what you want to do when your body is telling you to have a nap
After reno'ing our house for about 8 years after work & weekends I had enough, relented & got a builder to finish. It was a nice feeling to come home & see progress made - even better to dedicate the Saturdays to much more important things like bike maintenance & coffee.
I'm sure the bike will sell pretty quickly.
Hey Eddie, I can relate to a lot of what you just posted - totally understand where you're coming from.
I may have to take the PD for a ride before she goes - just to compare y'know. Keen for a swap one afternoon?

Added WOF and reg details about the PD to my post above.
Reg is valid till 25th October 2010.
WOF has expired. I'm looking to getting that renewed but it will be a few weeks at least as I'm going away on Holiday next week.
