I received some stuff from motobins today which reminded me that I forgot to order a rubber bung to cover the timing mark on the engine case.
If anyone is putting an order in soon & could include one I'd fix them up for it.

I did have a spare. However due to the vagaries of the shelf based filing system (similar to the floor based system....but higher) I cannot lay my hands on it. It may also already be installed on a bike somewhere...

You can use the RS one at a pinch. That's unlikely to be a mover for a few more months. Talking of which ?

It was a useful exercise though. I was about to order some other parts & have discovered a secret stash I'd forgotten about.

Also have one only valve adjustment bolt & nut, if you are still to get those.

I got 4 new adjuster bolts today along with some unmunted clutch bolts - I must say they were a lovely sight to behold.
I'mnot in too much of a hurry forthe bung- I'll improvise for now.

I was bloody tempted to take a pic of Nordies emporium the other day when I was trespassing- unbelievable to think he can actually fit bikes in there.

Just putting the feelers out there - but at some stage I may wanna swap a BMW 21” cross-laced rim for a 19” one.

Of course we’d have to find someone game enough to respoke them and this wouldn’t happen for a little while yet, but let me know if you’re interested.

Don’t worry, I haven’t gone mad. Rest assured that the “dirty” bike will still have a 21” front hoop.
