This lunkhead got outbid...![]()
DeMyer's Laws - an argument that consists primarily of rambling quotes isn't worth bothering with.
It ends on the 4th of March, what's the rush? I am not even bidding. Whoever buys it will probably find a bit of a mismatch between rear and front suspension, but all you have to do is throw money at it to fix it.
I somehow think that my small tank will get to go riding again for a while.

I reckon under $4500 & it'd be worth it. Are those stock forks without gaiters? They look really flimsy without them. it's the white frame that sets it apart visually I reckon.
it's gone past my limit.

Only just spotted that G/S. I like it. Am interested to see where the bidding goes from here - surely it's approaching the ceiling?
Any love for the road going monos out there? I've been watching them on TM, but they don't appear to be moving.
I've decided mine has to go. If anyone's interested, let me know before I put it on TM. '86 police RT, now with RS fairing and luggage. Needs some tidying up here and there, but it's a solid bike. I'd start it at $2500 on tardme.
It'll be interesting to see where it stops. I think a PD tank may be more practical if you're after a long haul beast but that tank looks bloody cool I reckon.
I dunno about the road going beemers... They certainly don't have the same appeal compared to GS'. Do any have wire spokes? If so they would be good for DS conversions
