    Um strictly hypothetical question.
If a person was robbed and had a 3000volt lekky fence clearly sighnposted with DANGER electric fence round their property -150mm INSIDE a 2.4m boundry fence
SAY if that person was able to wind the whole deal up to say about 15000 volts. If they woke up and found a krispy kritter hanging off the fence would they be responsible for clean up of said krispy kritter?
    Um just er wondering

A little bit of a silver lining.
Just thought I'd update on this scummy event.
A couple of bits of good news came out of this.
First being that my Car Yard insurance now specifically covers all motorbikes for sale on the yard provided I keep frame numbers of all trail bikes.
AND The bloody wonderfull folk at STATE insurance accepted that the kids bikes were stolen from my home after visiting and seeing we do indeed actually live here.
Special thanks go to Oldskool for supplying clear pictures of my kids on their 50cc bikes and Scott411 from (MR MOTORCYCLES)for providing valuations for me.
End result. --insurance payout was enough to get a cheap tard me quad for maddy and a honda 50 for crash bandycute.
To cap it off a really generous person who asked to remain nameless sold me a KX125 so we are back in business riding as a family again.
PS--William is now sleeping with his KX85 in his bedroom and an arm draped over it

    Pictures!

Good result mate - not the best, but nonetheless it's good when insurance comes to the party.

Ohh and Im still looking for the bikes concerned.
Im now VERY sure its a local villain who stole them. My kids bicycle is pretty distinctive and its been seen one street over from here

Asked a mate of mine that is in the insurance business to look at this for you. Do you want me to continue with this?

The insurance side of matters is now sorted out thank you.
Trouble was that I hadn't updated the yard insurance to include trail bikes it quite specifically covered cars.

Oh man what a suck thing to have happen. Its a shame its against the law to torture bike thieves. I got in the shiv a few years ago for wiring my car alarm via a massive coil through flat exposed copper under the door handles so it was pumping a good voltage when it was armed.

Guy tried my door handles (gee I wonder why) and got a bloody good bolt. Then had the cheek to go to the police. He dropped his charge after the old bill looked into his story of why he was doing that to my car but the coppers gave me a rather good ticking off regarding that modification.

We had 3 Suzuki DR200's and a trailer go from a yard at work. Thieves had to go through two locked gates to get to them using a truck they stole from an Ag machinery shop down the road. The trailer was found out by the Kokatau bridge and they put the truck down a bank of Bennett's Hill - so if you get offered a cheap DR they're may be some ownership issues. All of ours have been fitted with an aftermarket inline filter between gas tank and carb. They should all have a 2 or 3 digit number crudely stamped round the headstock somewhere too. Caveat emptor!

Blimey Frosty, just copped onto this one,

Sorry for the trouble mate but glad to see you have had a result in some ways, never lose your faith in human nature, eh....

I've passed the details around to a few people I know to keep their eyes open for the gear and me and the Fatt Family will be doing the same.

    Take care dude
