Terrible to hear about this Tony. The fact that you've been hit before suggests that it's not likely to be the last time unfortunately, and the bastards who do this kind of thing have no concern whatsoever for the victim(s) only their own selfish "gain".

Don't know what can realistically be done other than having something like a shipping container to keep them housed in. Dogs are not much chop as (apart from the barking, which lots of people ignore anyway) a bit of sedative or poison- laced meat will take care of them.

Theiving scum who take stuff like yours are not likely to be opportunistic, it will have been planned so apart from storing the bikes out of sight (yes, even if the arseholes might have an educated guess as to what's inside the big container) might be a plan. ?.

p.s. meant to add it's such a bugger that any security measures that end up being taken to protect your possessions are often expensive, adding insult to injury.

    Oh bugger! Not again.
I would have thought your yard was nice and secure with all of the fences.
You may have to ask the previous owner for some of the toys, that were kept in the "dungeon room", when you moved in...

    Oh no Frosty!

What a nasty thing to do - and especially to someone who goes out of his way to help everyone else!

My eyes will be peeled. If you hear in the news about a high-speed chase involving a Volty and some kids' trail bikes you'll know I'm onto them.

Sorry PB, butt having worked at a shipping company, I can tell you that shipping containers are a lot less secure than you evidently think.

At the end of the day, the doors are often sealed with just a padlock or chain/padlock combination.
