A mate of mine was out there today on a KLX300. I think it was his first time at Ardmore.

didnt see you out there dude, was way wet for a while, i tried to lean it over for you a few times phill but didnt see the flash, you gave me a fright at one stage though on the corner before the big table in the middle, you were hiding in the scrub up on the berm!

Bloody had to work was gutted! Was a lovelly day too!

Telli what time did you start? Was he watering way after 4 mate? Its a bugger when he does that! The tracks also hopeless for the first hour on top of the delay.
On a Motorcycle you're penetrating distance, right along with the machine!! In a car you're just a spectator, the windshields like a TV!!

'Life's Journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out! Shouting, ' Holy sh!t... What a Ride!! '

started bang on time, just way to much water, it got good for a while but then went away if ya know wat i mean, not bagging him though, i dont know of any other tracks that have the hours in prep every single week like ardmore. the temp is dropping alot earlier in the evening so after a few lines finally dried(hardpack) they then turned slick as the ground cooled off!
good to be back on the bike though, havnt ridden much this year, that photo of i is the third table which you could seat bounce all the way, cool fun

Started on time, that was good, also cant expect it to be perfect all night I suppose. John does do a lot of work setting it up each week so I agree its a good track. If he could get his resource consent, a sprinkler system a few hours a day would mean he doesn't have to totally soak it before a meeting on a Sunny day!
LOL!!! we should be able to ride anything I suppose mud, clay or hard pack, not his fault that!!!
Chees mate still pissed I missed it!!

Ah tru tru, yeah we saw you out there. wasn't sure where you were parked tho. Track has been really slick the past couple weeks aye. Once the loamy dirt is gone it's slick hardpacked. Love riding out there tho.

So from now on it's 2pm til 6pm?

Yup thats him. Thanks for the pic. I'll send it to him He ended up bending a radiator shroud and got wacked by someone. Not sure if he enjoyed it or not actually.

I'm surprised he didn't get asked to leave given he doesn't have proper riding boots!

The new flash is...well, um... flash... It does however need the operator to know what settings to use...... Has all these tiny symbols on the screen at the back and I had to buy new glasses to read them... I thought I had it set to "fast" but in fact it was on auto... Not many shots worked.... Got the girls to blast around our (rather large) garden tonight and everything worked well... Harrisville on Saturday is another chance to try it out.....
