    Had a similar bike... 120,000km as a motorcycle courier... then I did a tour round NZ on it before I sold it with 136,000 no major work just regular standard maintenance... I believe it is now run it...

    It's going to be like my car, keep it for ever and run it into the ground. For the record, my car has 300,000 and still on original motor and hasn't needed rebuild. Not bad considering it's turbo and modified.

    mate that bike is just run in,
    have a gander at my profile pic,
    with regular maintenance, good riding and being kept clean 350k is possibile.
    the red bike on my profile did 365k around the world, before it stopped,
    I was given it by its PO , so are now its second owner.
    High milage depends upon the qaulity of the bike and the qaulity of the mantainence.

    I find not raping the fuck out of it helps.
    I have tried to blow up bikes before their warranty is up, and never suceeded, but the gearbox in my DRZ-SM was not happy at 8000kn
