Agreed waikato is awful, but if it was all there was left you would drink it.

Its now my second day of unemployment, a bit strange after going to the same place for the last 15 years.

The wife has put a long list on the fridge of things for me to do

Well I finally had to do it - listed all my decent scuba dive gear on TM today, need the cash!

As a PADI scuba Instructor that was a painful exercise i can tell you, but needs must and i sure aint sellin my motorcycle!!!!

Well if I am absolutely honest with myself; I would rather be on my bike than dive around Welly!
The only downside is if I ever do go to Pacific islands to dive i won't have my own gear, but not a major headache! And the PADI Instructing i have done in Welly is freelance and doesn't pay diddly; basically do it for the fun of it, plus I'm signed off of teachin by OSH til my hernia op done anyway.

So yeah hard to do as that gear is damn expensive, but maybe right time to do it! My dry suit, Regs & Dive Computer particularly are bloody good ones so bit of a bummer, but as i said; rather be out adv riding anyway these days, so all good!!!

As if Fonterra's (our biggest exporter) projected payout of $4.55 isn't bad enough, it was calculated before the US govt (wankers) announced they are reinstating their export subsidies.
Hang in there guys, this recession ain't over yet......
