Wink Two days free, where shall I ride? Suggestions please!!

I've finally got my weekends free to ride and want to get some miles ridden to make the most of the last (?) of the Summer! GoGAl is away on a Girlies weekend, so where shall I point the ST1300 for an overnighter/2 day ride?

Can't find any Rallys on - so people - I WOULD WELCOME YOUR SUGGESTIONS!

I'll be starting in the morning from central King Country - happy to camp somewhere or country pub it.

    All suggestions really appreciated!

    Cheers Guys and Gals

The options are only limited by your imagination, how far are you wanting to go?

    Whangamata Beach Hop this weekend.

Just banged a loop togehter in Google maps for a wee looksy, your place to Mangakino, Murupara, Whakatane, Gisborne , Napier, Taupo, Turangi back to your place is a touch under 1000km, plenty of places you could stop for the night. But then of course you could do it Clockwise Saturday and Anti Clockwise Sunday.....

Would offer to meet up somewhere and ride for a bit but all ready not enough hours in the weekend for what I have to get done so that wont be happening.

Lucky bloke, if it were me I'd head east to Hawkes bay, up to and round the cape, through the bay of sufficient and back down via Taupo and home.
