    **Sigh**

Bike got blown over today. XT660R a couple of bikes along had the same thing happen. His mirror got snapped off, bar end bent and his plastic muffler shroud was a bit scuffed. He looked as gutted as I felt.

The Zed's muffler and bars saved the body work. Right side engine covers are scratched, foot brake lever bent, bar end bent, right mirror a bit scuffed, cool Renthal bars slightly bent, muffler gouged and dented, but not as bad as I was expecting. As I picked the bike up the wind whipped the Ventura headlight guard off and it flew into the tray of a passing truck. My mood lightened at that point. Bike is perfectly rideable, in fact it's in better nick than some of the shitters you see on TCWNR outing.

It'll be a couple of grand to fix though, so Insurance here we come. Will I be allowed to ride it while we wait for parts?

The last bike left standing in the line was a Yamaha Tricker. If it's yours, that was me that pointed it into the wind. Your fork seals are stuffed too, but that bit wasn't me because I never sat on it.
If a man is alone in the woods and there isn't a woke Hollywood around to call him racist, is he still white?

Life can be a shit sandwich sometimes for sure! Glad you were not on your bike when it got blown over Jim. Move north mate, we dont even begin to get wind like that, unless it is high summer, and we are camping at the beach.

Just be glad you don't own a Harley bro. The council would be sending a bill for the crater repairs.
Hope the insurance peeps don't put up a struggle.

Am gutted for you Jim. Nothing worse than seeing your loved one on its side like that. Always worth having crash knobs fitted.

What crap do they make Renthal's out of these days? The only time I've bent Renthal's the bike did a serious mid air loop on a very steep hill - it must of fallen 20 ft before the bars hit the ground first. So your bike fell over standing still....and it bent Renthal bars??..??? How big is the hole in the footpath? How much does this bike weigh?

Sorry about your bike - but I hope my premiums don't go up.....

That sucks man, I was really glad of my underground security card access only carpark today. The ride home was interesting though. The Duc isn't normally too upset by the wind but I found myself correcting a butt load and saying a quiet prayer before splitting.

    Hope the repairs go well.
