Thumbs up BIG thanks to Nasty & Nudemetalz!

Thanks Nasty for allowing me to bust in on your oil, filter and spark plug change lesson this morning and do an oil change on Black Betty (my bike).

Thank you so much Nudemetalz for teaching me today, you've got a real knack as a teacher! Like I said today I learn by doing not by having someone do everything and tell me what they've done. So it made it so much more enjoyable...along with the coffee, hot x buns and the laughs!

Interestingly we confirmed once and for all that my bike doesn't have a oil filter just a small gauze filter in the bottom of the crank case.

I learnt how to do an oil change, clean my filter and carefully put the crank case back on and adjust my chain (which was very loose).
My goal in life is to be as good a person as my dog already thinks I am.

Yup he was awesome .. I learnt that my oil filter is in a dumb place .. my spark plugs placement is not quite as dumb as Grubs CBR was ... and that oil changes are a doddle!!!

Oh and tell someone when the oven is on grill for hot cross buns and not bake (opps) ... great time had by all!!!!!!

    Sounds like fun
Can't believe its almost easter already.
Am surprised there isn't a girls 'bike maintenance' course/group thingy, but I spose it wouldn't be hard to organsize if needbe.
Would do it if I was on the other side of the water ie; welly or auck.
Could BYO oil and wine !
Whole new spin on a tapaware party ...

Kudos to Nasty and Ms Piggy

I went over to Nasty's place yesterday and we did some basic maintenance including oil changes, oil filter changes and spark plug changes to their respective GSX750F and CB250RS.
I showed them the basics and upon supervision, they performed the servicing to their machines very well.

So, big thumbs up to the two ladies
