....Id like to think I would have been quick thinking enough to have run up to him at first chance and ripped key out of ignition. With bike stopped he really has no way of escaping barr on foot....

You arent the only one toying with the idea of grabbing the key...
Funny thing tho is most thieves are dont bother - as RM reported in the other thread.
If you are going to do the man hero thing may as well leap on the guy and hope the bike pins him to the ground,
else getting onto *555 served RM pretty well.

While ramming the guy sounds like fun you do have to consider it is YOUR bike so as well as having the repair bill you would have to scrape his blood spatter and brain pieces off your bike..... OK no that does sound worth it yep ram the prick, just claim you didn't see him thats regulation cage defence.
