    Are you thinking
    Murchison, Inangahua, Reefton
    or
Murchison, Maruia Saddle, West bank road, Springs Junction, Reefton

Do the second, no gravel the on the first route. Then again the Upper buller wiggles are pretty cool too. Actually definitely do the second (via springs on the way south as you will have to do the Upper Buller on the way north from the New Creek Denniston track looksee.

For those of you doing this ride that have a GPS and have never looked at my website (see signature) before most of the the tracks you will be doing are on my web site if you want them.

    Cheers R

was actually thinking of the direct route to allow time to do Waitahu River but via the Maruia Saddle might be a better choice - we can argue the toss on the ferry or at Murchsion over a coffee - I'm happy to go with the flow as either option will be fun (Waitahu River is much knarlier than Muruia etc)

Do we have a deadline yet for booking the group ferry booking? Be handy to know so I can organise my finances for this trip. Cheers.

Dumb question. Is this a group ride, or are we splintering off and staying all over the place? As Mark was organising the ride, I thought he was sorting accomodation?

Just remember that this weekend and no kissing the dirt.

That black beastie has gained a bit of a reputation for doing nasty things to its pilot.
Here for a good time, not necessarily a long time

Nah, he'll be safe as he pussied out on riding the black beastie and is on the blue meenie from Aslan instead! Claims he was just ensuring I had a ride available for the weekend if I needed to go for a blat while you guys were off having buckets of fun, but I reckon he's just lost his nerve in his old age!

    Cheers, Dave

NAH I reckon he is just scared of the BLACK BEASTIE --- it would be too light for him without that 44 gallon petrol tank he is used to and would buck him off
