.....The Interisland ferries are sailing again, despite the heavy swells of up to seven metres in Cook Strait. Some ferries were delayed earlier this morning, disrupting the travel plans for hundreds of people.

The Kaitaki set sail from Wellington just before 10am. Bluebridge has cancelled two sailings this morning.

Hahaha - have fun fellas or should that be I've done a "last sailing" in 8m swells on the Arahura - puke everywhere. Cook in the old fish and chip shop (startbord side outdoor deck) was sloshing buckets of water around before we even left the Tori Chanel Was funny watching all the sick people everywhere - kept me from thinking about being sick.

My advice - get up in the bow and get thrown about as much as possible. Makes it fun and takes your mind off the mayhem.

    Cheers R

Aaah seasickness, once got seasick working in the engine room of a fishing trawler, problem was it was tied to the wharf at the time. Get seasick driving on a wet road, glad I wasn't on that boat.
I mentioned vegetables once, but I think I got away with it...........
