at least bluebridge stay at the one price ($105 bike and body - 1 way) where as interislander ramp up prices as the boat fills up so lets go with the bluebridge 7pm sailing?

I think that forces us to stay in Picton/Waikawa on Thur night.

The current MNZ discount would be $75 for 1 adult and 1 bike.
    Only in off-peak times.

    Thanks o nordic one

Thats a great saving - can you just use that code or do you need some sort of MNZ membership?

BTW - liked the banjo - can you play it?

Thanks for the heads up - really useful for those of us on the very tight end of budget world!

Guys, I used the MNZ code for my trip down south last month. Think it was about $130 return. We should get a group sorted and do a group booking as that is what it is supposed to be used for. What ya think?

Being an MNZ member helps assuage the guilt feelings from using the code but YGMV*

I do a sick 5-string air banjo I'll have you know.

As an aside... The word banjo sounds very like the Japanese word for toilet.

    22-24 May

Those dates work for me & $130 return ferry would mean that I would be a definite starter for this. Where to from here?

    Cheers

This is getting interesting - we're gonna have to have a headcount soon if we're thinking group booking aren't we?
And if we do the group booking, how do we handle the "I'd really really like to but can't confirm yet" people?
    Cheers, Dave

"A" was always excellence when I was at school.

Shit. I'd already booked that week off work. Problem is.................I promised to take the missus on holiday.

Perhaps we could holiday in Nelson. We could go a few days early. She could fly and I'll ride.

    Devious

Somehow, I don't think it will work.
