Pass on my best wishes to Ginger. One of my motorcycling heroes.
I hope the memories he recovers are all good ones.
Cheers

Hi Guys, Ginger has been moved to rehab in Dey Street Hamilton East. This is a good sign that they think he is able to recover from his fall. Hopefully now with more one on one sessions we will see a big improvement.
Missed the bottom step! And people say bikes are dangerous, he's belted around the race tracks of the world without mishap and then beans himself on a step! Isn't it always the way , safe home from the Indies and drowned in the Thames.
Here's hoping for a full recovery, it would be shame not to see No 7 leading the field again.

I was always nosing in on what Ginger was doing, farting around with his Bultaco's - machining something on the lathe or mill, porting a barrel, making an expansion chamber.
Second to Ago in the 1970 World 500 Champs,as a privateer on a bike nobody could handle. He's right up there for me.
Get well Ginger....

Hi Guys, Ginger is now recognising some people and is having physio. He is progressing in leaps and bounds now at Albino House in Dey Street Hamilton East, Hamilton. If he keeps going the way he is the Jelaca boys will be able to spring him out of there for one day on sunday so that he can go to Taupo to watch the bikes. This is to help his recovery so hopefully he won't get too tired. He has been told in no uncertain terms to keep it up old bugger as we want to see him back out there racing.
Thanks for the update rastus, sounds like Ginger is on the improve even though it may be a long and slow road. Good news all the same.
Cheers
