The Old Beast... Yami MX100 - Year? Fix? Restore?

Ok, read Choppa's thread about resoring the 91 KX... Got me thinking... Have a few beasts lying around here and there and this is the biggest beast of them all... A Yamaha MX100 of unknown year.

Its got stickers on it about it being a closed competition bike, so im guessing pre-YZ? If anyone knows how to read frame numbers, its 310-101360 [Probably stolen a few times haha... bought it off some RUGGED people]. So if anyone could find out the year... thatd be great. Also have side panels and oil mixer [which I ripped out as didnt want to risk it failing], so the bike is complete.

Was my first bike... bought it for $130 when i was 8, and its never run right. Around corners it bogs, sounds like its gonna die, then just screams off in a wheelstand... not the best for learning on. Not the carb - checked and replaced that with a working ag100 carb which seemed the same. It has no silencer on it, it used to, but the insides had rusted out, could this be a prob? Where the hell would i get a pipe for it?

Would like to fix her up... but yeah...

Anyways... here she is... good or a laugh if nothing else

Go for it mate - its worth doing cos it was your first bike.
A pipe off an old IT would do the job as well. I rode one of those years ago in Wales.
